About Me
The Person
This is the page where you can find out “about me”, who I am and what inspires me! I am Fiona the writer and editor of Inspired Living, previously known as Super Mom Blog. I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Cape Town aka “The Mother City”. I am Proudly South African and will always call this my home.
Family is my top priority and I am a true lioness at heart! I am a romantic and believe in true love – I am still on honeymoon some 16 years later.
I am a girly-girl at heart and love pretty things, especially jewellery! I try to always look my best even if I do not feel it on the inside and smile no matter what – a smile is worth a thousand words!
What I love
I love beautiful things and I am passionate about all I do. I am not the sort of person to do things in half measures, the word perfectionist comes to mind. I love to colour-coordinate – well pretty much everything! I love the colour pink which is why having girls, who also love pink, has truly been amazing
Creativity inspires me and I am happiest when I am being creative. The thought of a life without travel is unthinkable. I have a long bucket list of places still to visit – top of the list is Thailand!
I am a style junkie and like to think that I have developed my own unique sense of style. I have a rather obsessive love of fashion and beauty, I love beautifully manicured, painted nails!
Then there is my insane love of food & wine. {oh I almost left out the coffee addiction!}
Photography is a big passion of mine, capturing a moment in time and preserving it for eternity!
The Blog
The main purpose of the blog is to share my experience and insights as a woman and a mother; to reignite the passion and purpose in my life and share my views and insights with you. I do feel that if we share more of what we know and feel, we may be able to help someone and encourage them to find their passion and purpose.
My Mission
To sow seeds of inspiration and creativity!
So hopefully you will “be inspired” by reading my blog! Thanks for visiting and do come back soon

Dear Fiona,
Isn’t it funny how our paths have crossed through the years and yet we don’t really know each other. Well done … you have created a meaningful, realistic and inspirational space. Really think your writing is beautiful…. and can you believe what a small world it is. I believe you met my friend Lara and the boys…. hope to bump into you in the shops sometime soon.
Love Pip xxx

Yes, life is funny that way but I believe that our when our lives cross with others there is always a purpose behind it – no matter how brief the instant may be! Lara is a mutual friend of a friend of mine – we made the connection over lunch – it really is a small world. Hope to you run into you again soon! Love Fee

Hi,
This is Peter, I went through your site (http://supermomsa.co.za) while surfing in Google, am very much impressed with your site’s unique information.
I work as a content manager in many travel communities and love the opportunity to guest post for your readers. I would like to give you a unique article on any travel related theme. No duplication or copying of the article is done. I assure you that the article will be published only on your site.
The best part is I won’t be charging you a penny, but in return all I need is just one link within the article. Looking forward for a positive reply.
Yours truly ,
Peter

Hi,
I have gone through your site and like it very much. I would like an exclusive guest post published on your site.
Since you already publish guest posts from different authors in your niche, I thought it would be nice if I too had an
opportunity to present your blog’s readers with something of real value.
I understand the need for unique and well-researched content. And I’m also very passionate about the topics that I write
about. The article will be unique and will not be published elsewhere on the internet.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely
James
I came across your blog today and I think that it’s really pretty and you’re doing really cool stuff. I also think the people who read your blog would be interested in our kid’s magazine.
We are a very small team and we’re trying to get parents and kids to talk about Supernova. Could we send you a review copy for you to chat about on your blog?
If you are interested, we’ll send you a copy in the post. Our website is http://www.supernovamagazine.co.za if you want more information.
Kind Regards,
Charne
