Photo A Day – Day 3 This Is Really Good! The timing of the arrival of this package from the Beauty Bulletin is perfect! I was about to pop off and buy more blusher, as I am running out! I will let you know what I think about the product in my review. I have not used many Elizabeth Arden products before, so I am really keen to try it :)

Photo A Day Challenge May 2013

by Fiona Rossiter on May 1, 2013

MAY-PHOTO-A-DAY_zps15a0483f

I have decided to take part in a Photo A Day Challenge for the month of May, shared by the lovely Chicara over at Lipgloss Kisses, one of my favourite beauty blogs! I did a 30 Day Photo Challenge quite some time ago on the blog and tried to do one again at the end of last year, which did not work out due to technical issues, so I am super excited about trying this one!

This particular challenge was set by Fat Mum Slim and sounds like great fun! If you want to join the challenge it is super easy, this is how:

  • Check out the May photo a day list above.
  •  Each day look at the daily prompt and take a photo according to whatever the prompt is. For example for day 1 the prompt is ‘I bought this!’, so share something you’ve bought. It might be something you purchased today, like a coffee etc or something you love that you picked up some time in the past. It’s a great opportunity to get creative. Be inspired by a little creativity and see what you come up with.
  •  Once you’ve taken the photo it’s time to share it. There are loads of places you can share it. See below for more details.
  • Check out other people’s photos. You can browse through them on Fat Mum Slims Facebook page, in the FMS Photo A Day Facebook group. Or on Instagram or Twitter just search for the #FMSphotoaday hashtag to see them all.

There are loads of places to be social and share your photos with the #FMSphotoaday community:

  • Instagram: Just upload your photo, use a fancy filter, add a caption and the hashtag #FMSphotoaday and then share.Facebook: There are a few options here. You can simply share on your own personal page, among your own friends. Or you can upload to FMS page’s wall, or you can join here: FMS Photo A Day Facebook group
  • Blog: If you have a blog, you could share each day or do a wrap up of all the photos at the end of the month.
  • Tumblr: Add your daily photos to your Tumblr feed.
  •  Flickr: You can get their app {for free if I remember correctly} and share your photos there, or upload on their web version. There is also a photo a day group on Flickr.
  • Twitter: You can share on Twitter by uploading the photo and sharing the hashtag #FMSphotoaday. Easy.

So let me know if you are joining in and we can check out each others progress! If you are on Instagram or Twitter please leave your deets in the comment section so that we can follow you!

iMo Camera Strap

by Fiona Rossiter on April 19, 2013

A few weeks ago I received this fabulous iMo Camera Strap, from Hong Kong, to try out! Not only is the iMo Strap functional and well made but it is super funky and fashionable. There is nothing in the rule book that says because it is practical it should be boring!

The strap I chose is called “Reddie”. I simply fell in love with the red stripes – you guessed it, red is one of my favourite colour choices this season! The iMo Reddie is from the Neoprene Strap range. The straps also come in Cotton, Jaquard and Leather and there are a host of stunning patterns to choose from! You can click here to view the full range of straps.

I am loving using my strap! It is perfect as you can easily detach the strap, making it easy to swop straps if you have more than one and it is strong enough to hold over 120 lbs. It also has a slightly padded inner lining which makes it super comfortable around your neck.

Thank you to iMo for my awesome Camera Strap – I love it!

*Disclaimer: The iMo strap was sent to me for review purposes but views and opinions are all my own.
