Cinderella’s Secrets

I was recenlty sent a hamper from Cinderella’s Secret to review. Their extensive range of beauty and pamper products are aimed at making each woman feel like the princess she really is!

I thought I would share the range of products I received with you:

Chocolate Face Mask

As you know I love trying out and reviewing face masks, my favourite masks are usually clay based but I am always keen to try something different! This mask smells and looks exactly like chocolate mousse and that is exactly what it feels like on your skin. It does not dry or set on your face, so I would classify this as a purely hydrating mask. It smells lovely and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth.

Love Potion Body Scrub

I have loved using this scrub! I usually use a body scrub once or twice a week when I shower but I really do not like scrubs, which leave your skin feeling sticky after applying them. The Love Potion scrub has a creamy texture and contains a fine exfoliant and it is not too abrasive. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. It has a delicate fragrance, which I really prefer in a scrub and is not at all astringent.

Country Garden Body Butter

I do prefer using a body butter as opposed to a body lotion, especially after shaving my legs, as the thicker texture is way more nourishing for your skin. The Country Garden Butter also has a delicate feminine fragrance and although I loved the creamy texture when applied, I did find that my skin felt a bit sticky as the day wore on. I think this would be a great product to use at night, before bed and after a long soak in the bath!

Country Garden Liquid Bath Milk

I am usually a bubble bath gal but I have really enjoyed using this Liquid Bath Milk! It really softens the bath water and smells heavenly. Definitely one of my favourite products out of the range I tried.

Love Potion Bath Mouse

I must be honest I have only tried this product once. I do not bath that often – I prefer to shower, simply because it’s quicker but I did enjoy the way my skin felt after using it.

Natural Soaps

I also received two natural soaps which also smell great and I love the fact that they are natural! My favourite is the Goats Milk & Honey!

Naturals Ylang Ylang, Bergamot and Neroli Night Crème

I have a thing about body butters and body creams and try to moisturise at least twice a day, especially if I have been active or outdoors in the elements. There is nothing nicer than pampering your body with a divine smelling body creme after an invigorating shower or a relaxing bath!

I use a variety of body butters and creams but my new favourite is Naturals Ylang Ylang, Bergamot and Neroli Night Crème. This body cream, by Naturals Beauty is extra rich and smells amazing! It is especially made for use at night, when your skin is regenerating and needs extra moisture to help it do so. Ylang Ylang is known for its balancing action of sebum, known to be soothing on the skin. Neroli stimulates the growth of healthy new cells and has properties that help you sleep better at night. Bergamot finishes off this blend beautifully as it is helpful in treating nervous tension.

The cream has a soft silky texture and as I mentioned before, a wonderful fragrance and it leaves your skin feeling amazingly soft to the touch.

Vanish Stain Remover

As a mom and an avid home cook I am often plagued by annoying stains, whether it be paint from school art lessons or tomato stains, after whipping up a batch of my homemade tomato sauce! My go to Stain Removal tool, is definitely Vanish Fabric Stain Remover.

Stains occur every day on clothes in thousands of homes and as the stain removal expert, Vanish produces stain removal products that eliminate stains. To remove a Tomato Sauce stain, like the one on my white apron, above, simply dissolve one scoop of Vanish Power O2 Powder in 4L of warm water (max 40°) and soak the stained item. It could not be easier to do!

After soaking my apron in Vanish for an hour I rinsed and dried it and it was as good as new!
