My look of the week this week is featuring the super stylish Gwyneth Paltrow, she shows that air travel does not have to = dull boring fashion. Her look although casual incorporates a few trendy fashion items, I especially love her beautifully styled black linen blazer. Blazers are a must this season and I personally prefer the more tailored, structured version. She pairs her blazer with slightly flared jeans, camel boots and a gorgeous gray scarf – we will call this look “travel-chic”.

Erdem Resort 2013

I really love the vintage styling of this photo shoot, of the Erdem Resort 2013 prêt-à-porter collection. The classic lines and the use of glorious rich tones and fabrics give the collection an almost ethereal feel. Erdem Moralioglu successfully combines full skirts, Chanel-styled shift dresses, high-necked blouses, floral prints and a blue and pink palette to create a beautifully feminine collection.

A bit of weekend style inspiration! I love the gorgeous colour combination, I am not a lover of such dark nail polish on your hands but I think this look really works and the dark nail polish pops against the vibrant blue of the dress – stunning!

Look of the Week

My look of the week this week is all about the animal print, a popular trend both locally and internationally! This particular outfit is “home-grown” and is part of the current Jo Borket Winter 2012 Collection. The jump suit is playful and quirky yet ultra-sexy at the same time – I love it! The rest of the collection is amazing, featuring beautifully styled jackets, skirts and trousers with the focus on combining elements like texture and patterns, a trend that is very big this season.
