Look of the Week

My look of the week this week features one of my favourite celebs, Charlize Theron! It could have something to do with the fact that she is from SA or the fact that she is drop dead gorgeous or maybe a bit of both! She looks absolutely amazing in this fire-engine-red Lanvin peplum dress, which she wore last month, to the MTV Movie Awards. I must admit that peplums are not really my scene but I think Charlize would look good in a sack cloth!

She is perfectly put together and I love the gold strappy Jimmy Choo heels, which add that bit of extra glam to the look. Her Cartier jewels add a little bit of extra understated elegance to the entire look and do not detract from the dress at all.

My look of the week this week features none other than South African born Charlize Theron, now international star and darling of the red carpet. Her outfit for the Prometheus Premiere in London, was Dior all the way, I love both the colour and sparkle of her Christian Dior Couture cocktail dress. Her accessories are subtle yet chic and complement her dress beautifully, from her Dior strappy heels to the Bulgari jewels. I love this look on her!

“Home-grown beauty” Charlize Theron looking eye-catching in a dazzling blue dress – she really is “simply beautiful”!

Charlize Theron is a South African and American actress, producer and fashion model. Born in Benoni, a city in the greater Johannesburg-area, in South Africa, the only child of Gerda Theron (née Gerda Jacoba Aletta Maritz) and Charles Jacobus Theron. She was raised on a farm outside the city. Theron is of Afrikaner (Dutch, with some French Huguenot and German) descent, and Afrikaner military figure Danie Theron was her great-great-uncle.

She has starred in several Hollywood films, such as The Devil’s Advocate, Mighty Joe Young & The Cider House Rules.
