It’s that time of year – Spring Time, although the weather in Cape Town, does not seem to be playing along but as “they” say: life must go on. So regardless of any weather forecast, come the 1st September I am ready to say hello to spring and bid adieu to winter! To kick off my boots and winter woollies, in favour of Havianna’s and shorts! 8)
Why do I love spring so much?
- I love spring almost as much as I love pink – as I have said before it is a weird obsession! (Thankfully I have girls who also love pink) I think pink, for me, is reminiscent of all the delicate little buds blossoming.
- I love spring because it is the season that I met the love of my life – my season of love, need I say anymore!
- I Love spring because for me it symbolises new beginnings – like the shedding of your old self and starting anew – at the end of winter you see the “birth” of new life all around you, how can that not excite you!
So regardless of what the weather may bring our way, join me in celebrating the season of new life!
