Spa-Valous Massage Candles | Massage Candle Review

What are massage candles? I was not familiar with them, until recently when I heard about Spa-Valous Massage Candles and last week when I went for my first hot candle massage. Gone are the days when a candle simply functions as a way to light a room, candles are now most commonly purchased to scent homes or to add a romantic or relaxing ambience. Massage candles are a new variety of candle serving several simultaneous functions.

While they light a room, provide a delightful ambience, and scent the immediate area with subtle fragrance, massage candles also contain cosmetic ingredients that make them an excellent body moisturiser, offering anti-aging benefits and a massage oil alternative. Because of their unique ingredients, a true massage candle will melt at just over body temperature. Much like a hot bath, they are comfortably warm, but not too hot.

I must admit that I was most intrigued when I first heard about massage candles, if not somewhat sceptical but to my delight, it truly is a marvellous invention! Not only does the candle smell amazing but the feeling of the hot essential oil, from the candle, on your skin is sublime. Unlike other massage oils, the candle oil does not dry or feel sticky on your skin, it simply feels moisturising and soothing.
