Taking my mom out for lunch. Just being in her company is so lovely. We are such good friends. I wish I could afford to go on a spa day with her. Sigh.

My most special Mother’s Day moment was when I was 5 years old and made my first Mother’s Day card for my mum at school; I had so much fun making it and it brought a smile to my mum’s face when I gave it to her.

Promotional sticker of the Lindor Milk Cornet 200g. My most special mothers day memory. The day my mom hugged me when I showered her with prezzies and sent her to CT for a holiday.

The most special Mothers day moment has to be last year when my boys & I surprised my mom with a basket full of her favourite things, she loved the fact that we came so early, with her in bed still recovering from the flu. Just before I was about to start lunch she called me into her room, for me to find my boys in bed with her, eating the goodies we bought her. She invited me to join them & we ended up sending the men to get lunch πŸ™‚

12 years ago when my baby celebrated her 1st Mothers Day was very special to me, not only because she made me a granny but because the type of mom she was & still is… And I’m surely taking some credit for that lol

Every day that I have my Mother on this Earth with me is very special to me, Mother’s Day is always special to both of us. I love waking up early and bringing her a steaming mug of Cappuccino and crawling into bed with her to chat and plan our special day together. My special Mother’s Day moment had to be the surprise picnic I planned with a basket filled with all her favourite snacks and a bottle of sparkling wine.

My favourite Mother’s day moment was actually last year. We went to the Joburg zoo for a picnic and it was REALLY special because it is the first Mother’s day that I have spent with my mom for years because we lived in Botswana for 4 years and other years something else happened! That was a real treat for us…just to be together for a change! XX

My mum and I are best friends, she’s the sister I never had, I can tel her anything and she wil never judge me! We are besties, I would say, my mum’s birthday is also on the 12 may, so its a double celebration, I try my best to spoil her coz I’m a stay at home mum! I usually buy her flowers and some kind of sleepwear, but I would luv to do more for her, probably a spa treatment for all her aches and pain to go away, a luvly lunch out and some lindt choccies to top it off and a glass of wine

I love how genuinely pleased my mom always was with the breakfast I brought her in bed – even though I think the coffee was cold, toast burned & I spilled on her almost every time! Not to mention the mess I’d leave for her in the kitchen in the process!

My best, most special Mother’s Day moment has to be my 1st Mother’s Day as a mom πŸ˜‰ It’s not about what you do, where you go or even what gifts you receive on Mother’s Day, to me it’s all about having my little girl in my arms and feeling so overwhelmed with love for her and having her look up at me knowing that she loves me unconditionally!!! When it feels like your can break from all the love you feel for your child!!! THAT is the best feeling EVER πŸ˜‰

Every Mother’s day, my brother and I would wake-up and make ‘breakfast’ for my mom. The effort was there, unfortunately the end product..not! LOL.
