Beauty Storage Ideas { Home Decor }

Beauty storage always seems to be a problem for me, which is largely thanks to blogging {I am not complaining!}, as well as loving all things beauty related. I also think that being a nail polish addict does not help matters! There always seem to be so many beauty products lying around, and I hate clutter! I much prefer everything to be neat and organised {did I mention I am just a tad OCD} – so having functional storage is a must!

Beauty Storage Ideas

I have a few of the conventional beauty storage boxes, which look great and work well but are quite costly and take up a fair amount of space. So I decided to try and find a few more cost-effective Beauty Storage Ideas.

These are a few of the Ideas I came up with:

Consol Jars

I have quite a few Consol Jars from working with Consol on various campaigns, so I thought why not use some of these, to store a selection of beauty related items.

Beauty Storage Ideas

I recently received a few of the new Consol Jars with Fun & Funky lids, which I thought would be perfect, to store some of my ever expanding nail polish collection! These jars are also great to store cotton balls, which I use to remove my nail polish.

The smaller jars are perfect to hold items such as cotton rounds, cotton buds and all my manicure bits and bobs. Some of the Consol Jars I have had chalk labels on them, which is fun and ideal for labelling and organising all your beauty paraphernalia. If you have jars without labels, you can buy them online from Cotton Candi and stick them on yourself.

These smaller Consol jars, also work well for storing eye brushes and eye pencils, an excellent way to keep them all organised and on hand.

Vases

You can also use a short glass vase, to hold bigger makeup brushes. Tip: Use glass stones to hold the brushes upright.

Other fun storage ideas for makeup brushes are pen holders, like the one below which is from Typo.

To keep your bathroom counter neat and keep beauty products organised, a decorative wooden box, preferably one with high sides, is a perfect idea.

The box I used, from MRP Home, is cute, as well as being inexpensive and is the perfect size for taller beauty products.
