Beautiful Earth

This week I am very excited about reviewing products from the Beautiful Earth range. Beautiful Earth is a specialist manufacturing company, distributing 100% natural products for personal care, to individual consumers and the hospitality industry. As a eco-concious consumer I am always looking for ways to support local industry by finding local products, as an alternative to the international pharmaceutical brands and more importantly products that are not harmful and/or do not contain undesired ingredients, that may threaten our environment.

We see a world in which the entire family benefits from natural products through everyday use. In this world Beautiful Earth is recognised as the exemplar and the market leader in its countries of operation.

Our mission is to provide 100% natural, personal care products in an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable manner, while generating attractive returns to all stakeholders. ~ Beautiful Earth

With winter on our doorstep it even more important to exfoliate your skin and keep it silky and smooth!  The be Body Scrub is perfect for this job. Exfoliation is key to younger looking skin by promoting new cell growth. Old dead cells are gently removed assisting new healthy cells to surface. The salt scrub contains Shea butter, Sweet almond oil, Grapeseed oil, natural vitamin E and is enriched with Geranium, Lime and Lemongrass essential oils, that will leave your skin naturally soft and smooth. A natural and healthy way to exfoliate.

The Body Scrub has a wonderful texture and I love the zesty fragrance of lime and lemongrass, it leaves your skin feeling wonderfully invigorated and soft after use.

After exfoliation it is vital to replace the moisture in your skin and this is where the be Body Butter is the product to use. Made with shea butter it gently nourishes your skin with its luscious and creamy texture.  The Body Butter contains rich emollients including the essential oils of Ylang-ylang, Sweet orange, Sandalwood and Rosewood which will help with severely dry or cracked skin. Use it all over to seal in moisture and soften your skin.

I love the soft subtle fragrance of Ylang-ylang and the rich creamy texture of the Body Butter, it leaves your skin wonderfully smooth without making it sticky or greasy to the touch.

If you would like to find out more about these and other products from the Beautiful Earth range please click here to visit their website.

I will also be announcing an exciting giveaway sponsored by be in the very near future so keep a look out for that! I will also report back on my thoughts on the be products I am reviewing.

Nail Polish Trends – My "likes" for Spring 2011

My Fashion File – Nail Polish” likes” for Spring 2011

Seeing as spring is in the air, I have started planning my spring/summer wardrobe and this would not be complete, without the addition of beautifully  groomed nails. So I have put together a mood board of my favourite colours – I love all the nude shades that are the trend at the moment, as well as shades of grey which are still popular. Essie ,which is my favourite brand, also have their amazing range of pastel shades – one in particular that I love is called “Lady Like”, an elegant soft mauve colour. This brand is my pick for a few reasons but most importantly their polish actually lasts!

So what are you waiting for – get shopping and find your favourites. I would love to hear what shades  you are wearing and what your favouites for the season are! 🙂
