Look of the Week

My look of the week this week is all about the animal print, a popular trend both locally and internationally! This particular outfit is “home-grown” and is part of the current Jo Borket Winter 2012 Collection. The jump suit is playful and quirky yet ultra-sexy at the same time – I love it! The rest of the collection is amazing, featuring beautifully styled jackets, skirts and trousers with the focus on combining elements like texture and patterns, a trend that is very big this season.

My look of the week this week features the gorgeous Millie Mackintosh. I love the simplicity of her outfit, trendy black skinny jeans with a sexy lacy top, killer black boots and a stunning denim and leather jacket. The look is simple yet stylish and chic and she is wearing to of my favourite things denim and black!

Look of the Week

The look of the week this week is Jessica Alba {yes again!}, looking amazingly chic in gorgeous neutral shades. The whole look is chic and sophisticated with an “Out-of-Africa”, safari feel about it. The calm shades of beige are complemented wonderfully by her stylish nude heels and the Panama hat give the look a quirky edge. She really makes style look effortless!

The look of the week this week illustrates that you can transform an outfit and classic colours, into something fab, just by adding a pop of colour. Fearne Cotton looks amazing and her outfit is brought to life just by adding a gorgeous, bright scarf – in one of my favourite colours! This season is all about bold and bright accessories, statement colours such as reds and oranges, oversized sunnies and ornate jewellery pieces.

The look of the week this week comes from Elie Saab’s 2012 Ready-To-Wear collection, he is one of my favourite designers! The entire collection is amazing but this was one of the looks I particularly loved. I adore the colour and the exquisite tailoring, it shouts elegance and sophistication.
