Bon Cap Dream Wedding Venue Robertson

A recent road trip found us exploring the Robertson Wine Valley. One of the stops on our journey was Bon Cap Wedding Venue, for lunch at Bon Rouge Bistro.

Bon Cap Roberston

Bon Cap Dream Wedding Venue

Weltevrede Guest Farm in Robertson, boasts Eight Guest Cottages, Bon Rouge Bistro, as well as Bon Cap Wedding and Conference Venue. The guest farm is a haven of peace and tranquillity, offering guests a real taste of country lifestyle. It is also the perfect location to explore more of the Robertson Wine Valley.

As I mentioned, the farm offers accommodation in eight country cottages. The cottages are self-catering, except for the three en-suite private rooms, where meals from the Bistro, can be pre-booked. Weltevrede guests can also make use of the small swimming pool, as well as the outside boma, which is great during the hot summer months.

There is also a river and dam, which is ideal for fishing and birdwatching enthusiasts. If you are travelling with little ones there is a great kiddies play area.

Bon Cap - Bon Rouge Bistro

The day we visited it was bucketing down with rain and was super cold, but Bon Rouge Bistro was warm and cosy. The delicious, steaming hot veggie soup and homemade bread that awaited us were also most welcome!

Bon Rouge offers a country-style buffet lunch, which included soup, an array of salads, as well as a selection of hot dishes, which included meat and vegetable options. Last but certainly not least was a tempting and decadent dessert spread, which naturally we had to investigate.

Bon Cap Wedding Venue

Bon Cap Wedding Venue offers brides and grooms advice and guidance with tailor-made wedding packages to suit their every need. They provide in-house coordinators, as well as an in-house florist, to make planning your wedding an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Onsite options for your ceremony include an intimate chapel, the lush gardens or the underground barrel room. A selection of linen, silver or gold charger plates, as well as furniture, is available, as well as bar facilities. Couples can choose from either buffet or plated style of service. There is both a small and large function hall, which accommodates wedding parties, of between 10 and 170 guests.

Bon Cap is most definitely a Dream Wedding Venue, and I have it on good authority that couples come from far and wide to experience this magical country gem. It makes me want to get married all over again!
