The COCO-MAT Lofts
There are two Lofts available. The larger of which can accommodate two adults in the bedroom and an additional 2 adults in the living room on a custom sleeping sofa. The second smaller loft can comfortably accommodate 2 people.
As part of your stay, experience the gorgeous COCO-MAT beds, as well as their all-natural, hand-crafted bedding. A sure recipe for relaxation and rejuvenation! All this in a gorgeous setting in Bo Kaap – an ideal location to explore all that Cape Town has to offer.
Awaiting us on arrival, at the COCO-MAT Lofts, was a delicious treat of homemade focaccia bread, as well as infused gin and cordials. Added to that was a fabulous welcome basket, sponsored by Wellness Warehouse. It was a great way to begin our stay and set the tone for a wonderfully relaxing experience.
For me, one of the highlights of our stay was the view from the bedroom – going to sleep and waking up with this view was magical.
Each loft boasts a private patio with panoramic views of the City. It is the ideal spot for enjoying your morning coffee or G&T sundowner.
The lofts are self-catering but close enough to walk or Uber to an array of fantastic eateries. If you don’t feel like venturing out, you can order in as we did. Alternatively, for those wanting to explore their inner chef, a fully equipped kitchen awaits, as well as an honesty bar stocked with local beverages. Naturally, I could not resist whipping up something delicious! We decided to make a tasty pasta dish on our second night, which we enjoyed with fantastic local wine.
In Closing
We loved our stay at the Lofts! This inner-city sanctuary is the perfect haven of peace and tranquillity. But, that said, you are a stone’s throw from the buzz of city life – you definitely can have the best of both worlds!
