I love Pinterest which should come as no surprise to most of you and I love photography, especially black & white photography! So when I found this “pin” I had to share it! I am calling it “Peek-a-Boo”.

I am not entirely sure, why I love black and white photography so much. I think that it somehow creates a mood of mystery and intrigue, it allows your imagination to fill in the colours.
Monochromatic photography allows you, as the audience, to bear witness to the true nature of the subject. The play of shadow and light are the star of the show.
In particular I love these images and thought I would share them with you; I found them most inspiring.

This is a collection of a few images I took whilst on holiday and at home in our beautiful city. They capture the infinite beauty in nature that we are fortunate enough to experience, in our own magical country.
I love these rather retro black and white images. I find photography such an inspiration and I am always amazed at how the most simple subject matter can be so beautiful.
