Geography Made fun For Kids

It’s often a struggle to convince children that learning can be fun. MapStudio have accepted the challenge and have changed this. With their new range of products they have managed to make learning basic geography easy and fun.

Educational Pack for 9 – 12 year-olds

For children between the ages of 9-12, MapStudio have created an educational pack that includes a pack of cards, displaying interesting information about each of the African countries. What’s even more amazing is that each card also displays each African country’s flag. The pack also includes a 300-piece puzzle of the world and an inflatable globe. This pack allows you to join in on the fun with your kids while they learn about the world.  Geography has never been more fun.

A carabineer compass key ring is included in the pack in case your child enjoys exploring the outdoors – whether it be a forest or just your backyard.

Educational Pack for 6 – 8 year-olds

The Junior Pack is for children between the ages of 6-8. It’s never too soon for kids to learn about the world that they live in. An inflatable globe is included in the pack which kids can play with when they aren’t learning.

Also included is pack of Africa playing cards and a 63-piece jigsaw puzzle of Africa – it’s colourful and great for keeping your kids busy.

World Map Poster with Stickers

Now getting to know the world can be enjoyable and easy. Unlike any ordinary wall map, this map comes with three sheets of stickers. The stickers are of landmarks, animals and flags around the world. Your kids will love getting to know the world while using these fun stickers.

The map is brightly coloured and easily displays country names, ocean names, mountains, rivers, the equator and tropics. Every child loves stickers, making it a fun and interactive way to learn.

Glow in the Dark World Map

A glow in the dark map? When the lights go out, it doesn’t mean that learning needs to stop. When it’s dark, this map glows and what kid doesn’t love anything that glows in the dark? Now you can teach your kids about the world even at night – the perfect bedtime story.

The map marks major cities, towns, major rivers, major roads, routes and every country’s highest peak.

These packs and maps are amazing. Learning geography has never been more fun and simple –  every parent’s dream! MapStudio have created a way for kids to learn about the world while having a blast and you might even find yourself joining them.

a beautiful life

Aromatics Header

Hi everyone I thought I would give you a bit of a heads up on a website that I am in the process of developing! At the beginning of 2013 I realised that I had come to a bit of a cross roads, in my life and blogging career. Although fulfilling to a point, I found that some of the blogging I was doing was not meeting my need to be creative and express myself. This called for a bit of introspection and re-assessing my long-term goals going forward.

After some very hard thinking and soul-searching I realised that I needed to go in a more creative direction. Those who know me well, know that I have a passionate love of food and this is generally how I express myself, creatively, on a day-to-day basis. Another passion, vague obsession actually, that I have developed is photography – so what better way to express myself than through food-photography.

At the beginning of last year I had a vision of starting an on-line style magazine. At this early point of development, I was uncertain what direction this website would follow but I started it anyway. Well a year later I have found out exactly what it was destined to be, I think the concept was there all along, I simply needed time to realise it!

Without further ado, I would like to introduce you to “a beautiful life”! Yes, you guessed it, at the heart of this website is my love of Food and Photography with a bit of travel thrown in for good measure. If you already follow my recipes this will be their new home, I will not remove anything from Super Mom Lifestyle(SML) but I will be publishing all of my new recipes, food-related reviews etc on “a beautiful life”.

I will in no way be closing down SML, “a beautiful life” will simply be a new addition to the family!

I would love you to pop over and have a look at a “beautiful life”, check it out and see what you think. I would love your feedback, it is still very much a work in progress and I am learning new things each day, which is the most wonderful part of this journey.

You will not find any poncey over the top recipes on the site, I am aiming to share my love of food with you –  fresh ingredients, simple easy to follow recipes, delicious food – cooked from the heart – MY JOURNEY WITH FOOD!

I would also like to develop a readers area on the website, where readers can share any recipes that they love but I will let you know when that is launched. To keep up to date with new recipes, news and foodie events please pop over and follow “a beautiful life” on Facebook and Twitter 🙂

With-Love-Products5 With-Love-Products4

Products are shipped locally and internationally and they offer a secure online ordering system, but the best part is that a portion of each product sold goes to assist a child in need. So you can shop with joy knowing that your purchase improves the lives of many special children.

With-Love-Products2

With Love Candles are made with raw Beeswax, which is sourced direct from Beekeepers. The Beeswax is heated to filter out natural organic material like vegetation etc. but it is not bleached or diluted with normal wax. Beeswax releases natural Negative Ions into the air, which remove unnatural chemicals and harmful elements. Beeswax has a rich fragrance and the Essential Oils are used subtly enhance this fragrance. One of the main features, is that our Beeswax Candles burn for much longer than normal Candles.

With-Love-Products8

With Love Products have very kindly offered all Super Mom readers 10% off their first purchase in February 2013.
